Hello,

I'm setting up my new computer and it won't give any video output and no beeps. Here is the list of components:

Motherboard: Gigabyte H370M D3H
CPU: Intel i7-8700
PSU: EVGA 750 G3
Memory: Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666 RDIMM x2

I tried to boot with only Motherboard + CPU + PSU + one RAM.

No video output from the builtin HDMI output. CPU Fan works fine. No beep. It automatically restarts after about 10 seconds

I tried to reset the BIOS, replace the battery, boot with and without memory, insert RAM in four slots, and reconnect the power cables.

None of these methods solve the problem.

I wonder what else can I try or should I return the motherboard or the PSU or the memory.

I also ordered a motherboard speaker but I don't think it will help :/

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Definition of: RDIMM. (Registered DIMM)

That motherboard does not support the use of that kind of memory. It uses Un-buffered memory only. 2Rx8 memory or 1Rx16 memory refers to the kind of chips used on the memory, "1R" means "single rank," and "2R" means "dual rank" organization.
per the mb vendor that cpu should post with the first f1 bios. that came out a long long time ago. i would pull the mb from the case and with one ram stick try and post it on top of the mb box. if there no post...make sure the cpu is locked in and there no bent pins under it. if there no bent pins and it looks locked in. try a test power supply. on your power supply do the green wire jumper trick. unplug the power supply from the mb use a paper clip and jumper the green wire to one of the black ones. see if the unit fan comes on and stays on.

Thanks for helping me. I haven't installed the motherboard to the case and I tested it on the motherboard box. I checked the CPU pin but I did not see any bent pins or whatsoever. I also tried to lock and unlock it several times and it still doesn't work.

I tested the PSU with my graphics card connected and I used the green wire jumper trick you mentioned. The fan on the graphics card works fine as long as I have the circuit connected. :(
