Maybe im being stupid, but idk whats wrong. I just bought a second SSD, and moved my steam library to it. the drive had 8gb of freespace left so thats why I finally got another one.

After moving my steam library over, the properties of C drive say its got 214gb used, but when I Ctrl+A everything, including hidden files, of everything in the main C drive directory (program files, program files x84, graphics drivers, etc.) it tells me I have only used up 87gb. Where on earth can i find this 127gb discrepancy?

C drive properties

All in C selected

yea spacesniffer is telling me i got 200gb used, but i still dont get why "all in C://" is saying only 84gb used. Its still difficult to find what is using that much space and if its necessary anymore or not

WinDirStat
Run As Administrator, selecting only this drive.

Post a screencap here.

thanks for that windirstat link, makes it easy to sort through and see whats hogging up the most space. It looks like the culprit is under Users, and my name Chris. Whats really odd is windirstat says There is 108gb in there, and in that AppData takes up most of it at 57gb, however when I right click on Users in C drive directory, it says its size is only 1.62gb. Click a little deeper, (not using Windirstat) and when I right click on AppData, it says it only takes up 1.42gb. Go one level deeper, click on AppData, and I see Local, LocalLow, and Roaming. Right click on Roaming, and boom Properties says 50gb. Why on earth is the AppData folder saying its contents are only 1.42gb, but the contents are actually 52gb?? That makes zero sense to me

Because there's a lot of stuff hidden from your basic user account.
