So I've already wiped the hard drive with DBAN. But I need to install Windows 7 and then put the drivers & windows updates on it. I'm just worried that'll mean some of my data will get left on it, I'm not gonna do it over WiFi cause I know Windows saves the password, was just wondering if it's safe to do it over Ethernet? Does anything like global/local IP addresses, MAC addresses etc or anything like that get saved if I was to do it over Ethernet? I don't want to leave any personal info on the laptop.

Thanks

You've already wiped the drive.
Boot from your install media, and install.

The MAC address belongs to that particular LAN device. It is not "yours".

IP address is whatever the relevant router gives it. The PC has no IP address of its own.
The router will give it an IP address of something like 192.168.1.xxx. That means nothing to the new owner.
