External storage connect to TV via USB and to the Internet in the same time

I would like to have an external storage what would be connected to a tv with USB to be able to watch movies from it, but I'd like to be able to upload movies onto it from miles away via internet.
I'd use it to help my parents to watch new movies who live far away. They don't have smartTV that's why it's important to be connected to the tv via USB and for example to my computer via internet.

I have an old G-Tech (now, Seagate) portable drive with dual interface. Before that, I had a Seagate unit. I am not aware of current dual-interface unit, and Google brothers tell nothing either. This does not mean, of course, that they don't exist.

Actually, I can tell them to pull out from the tv, while I upload the files. Could you tell me a dual-interface device, please?
