I have a AMD A10-5800K CPU and I was wondering how do I overclock it for Gaming.

Full PC Specs:

AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB
Microsoft Windows 10 (build 17134), 64-bit
8 GB Of Ram

That's a great budget. You have options of AMD or Intel. Intel is usually faster when it comes to pure gaming. The AMD build comes with a better motherboard. Both systems offer overclocking.

Motherboard plays a big role in if you can overclock. Your power supply is also a critically important component to consider in a gaming and overclocking system. You should specify those two components before you begin.

I would suggest saving for a new CPU/Mobo/RAM to go with your GTX 980 Ti. No matter how much you overclock your A10 CPU, it will still be too slow to keep up with the GTX 980 Ti.
