Hey guys ive got a phenom ii x6 1090 and since I moved the radiator in my closet my CPU gets so hot that I can hardly touch it. The CPU is idleing the 90 degrees before the computer saflaat. There is nothing wrong with my cooling (MasterLiquid Pro 240) and the thermal paste is also good. I suspect the prosessor is broken. I have also tested the processor in another computer but it has the same problem

anyone ideas?

If you are sure that your cooling is good and you have already tested the cpu in another mobo, then I would say it is definitely a faulty cpu.

Did the other computer you tested it in have different cooling? Also, did you say that you moved your radiator into a closet??

My cooling is fine, and my other PC is using a instel stock cooler taped on a AMD heatsink......... yea i know, thats a shame
But i cleaned every pin of the cpu with a kind of oil & alchol and i think it works fine right now, im using it only for 4m and its still not 90 degrees so i think it's already fixed
