HI!

I recently replaced my Gskill V 2400mhz rams to Trident Z 3200mhz ones and noticed a slightly slower boot time than my Gskill V's. Im running at Samsung EVO 850, Ryzen 5 1600@3.8Ghz, 1.26500v via Asrock B350 Pro 4 with Updated BIOS 4.90P. Is this normal or should I do something about it?

is the X.M.P and A.M.P the same bc i got it running at 3200 but the boot time is much slower, like whenever I press the power on I instantly get a post using the Ripjaws V, but when I do it with the Trident Z it takes like a horrible 10-15 seconds to even get to post.

Depending on the board it may be called X- or A- MP. When you say get to post, what are you seeing? Does it take that long for a logo to appear, or does it just hang there for longer? What model is your board? It may help to check if the new RAM is on the compatibility list, or to run a diagnostic check with memtest.

Hi sorry for the late reply! I just set it to XMP, the respective speed then turned off AM4 advanced boot training. Every boot is fine and quick now
