Hello dear.
I have a small local area network in Pakistan. 125 users I have . I connect with Fiber optic . Throw the company both side fiber media 1000mbps 2x port . And other switch that I use 100 Mbps so I am getting from media "200mbps" . Because port 1.) 1000mps but next switch 100mbps. Same with other 2nd port . Load is exceeded .
Net work is choking .
Then I put giga unmanaged switch 8port with media port one.
To separate main Lines individually Davide with giga 8 port switch .
If Media 2 port 200mbps
8 port 1000mbp 800mbps
It will work ? Or it will act like 100mbs switch .
If it will not work plz tell me the solution .
