Going for a new Gaming PC and was looking for a good and decent PSU. Just saw review of FSP Hydro G 750w Gold on the JonnyGURU website. It has a 9.3 "Recommended" rating but its 3 years old. Will it still be great with current hardware. My specs are:
Core i5 8600k OC@ 5Ghz
Asus Z370 H
1080Ti 11Gb
8GB Crucial Sports
2 Tb WD Black
240 Gb Kingston SSD
Cooler Master K500L
Cooler Master MA410p Air Cooler
Extra Headroom

And on second thought Is this build Ok?

The fsp unit seems to be good. I trust the jonnyguru reviews.
The Seasonic focus units get a 9.6 rating.

Some comments on your list:
I like the 8600K and GTX1080ti for gaming.
You might want to check the rumors for a i5-9600K coming.

I would opt for 16gb up front.
You can not count on adding 8gb later.
Ram is supported only in matched kits.

I would buy a better cooler.
For the same money, you can buy a scythe kotetsu which competes with even the noctua NH-U14s.

Here is a review, check the comparisons at the end.

That's basically useless, as it includes functionality and value which isn't important in your query. And standards have changed from 3 years ago. Performance tests at JonnyGURU don't go very in-depth either.

It's a good power supply, but inferior value at $106 USD compared to competition.

You only need a 550W power supply, too.
Look for a Bitfenix Whisper, Corsair RMx, Seasonic Focus Plus, EVGA G3 and G2. They all great power supplies, and depending on your location atleast one will sell for a fair price.

Bro the huge problem is availability here. Can't find RMx, TXm and CXm series below 750W. Other brands are rarely available and we have to import them. We have Antec, Thermaltake, FSP and CoolerMaster. CoolerMaster supplies are of mostly low end and higher ends are above 1000w units. FSP 650w Hyrdro GE Gold is available in a fair price If you pass it. Corsair TX650 cost 50$ more here than Hyrdro GE 650.

That PSU is fine, good choice for that system.

Yes I know seperate kits are not good to stack but I am running low on budget now. WIll later get a 8x2=16Gb kit. Most brands like Seasonic is not available here. We have corsair but not below 750w on RMx, TXm and CXm,

I have a soft spot in my heart for FSP, it was one of the first power supplies I ever bought.
They make them and are not subcontracting the units out to other psu manufacturers.
I think the one you listed will be the best of your available options.

Nothing wrong with 8gb of ram. It is only when heavily multitasking that more might be needed.
With a budget, you do what you can.
Later, you seem willing to go for a 2 x 8gb kit; that is the best idea.
If the new ram has the same specs(speed, voltage, cas) as your initial 8gb,it might work together.
Then you will have 24gb.
A touch extra ram voltage is sometimes all it takes to get disparate ram to work.

Ok. So the Corsair TX650M and CX650M are again in stock here. Should I go for TXM instead of RMX?

NO, between those two get the RMX defiantly.

RMX below 850w is not available that is way out of my budget.

Well the TXM would be the next best thing then.
