Have a few questions this will be my first shot at this so i will be asking quite a few questions.

1. Is it possible once I figure out where everything is going and length of tube to put everything together outside of the case and then start the pump fill it and let it sit setup running for a day to make sure there’s no leaks? Like a test run if you will or even for an hour?

2. I would like to use only the best parts. What are the best fittings, best pump, best resivoir, best clear tubing so I can have a green liquid cooling,
Best cooling liquid or is distilled with a few drops of dye the best. Really interested in this question. Money will not be an issue for this part of the build but I also know the most expensive parts are not necessarily the best.

3. Any hints tips or you tube videoes I should watch. Any threads I should read. A webpage deciated to liquid cooling. Also any tips or warnings from anything you have learned from trial and error.

I will be taking my time and doing this slowly and carefully really appreciate any and all info on this subject I don’t want to make any mistakes.

Thanks

You will have trouble assembling the loop outside the case.
You will need to install all the components inside the case then work out your tubing run lengths.

When i first got into watercooling i was leaving the system for a day to check for leaks and what not, this is what everyone recommends, now that more experienced i leave it running for 30mins to an hour before powering on the whole system.
My D5 pump is pwm controlled so running without the system on limits the speed to ~1900rpm, with the system powered on i can crank the rpm to max, makes it much easier to bleed the system.

As for the best parts, Bitspower make some of the best fitting but are also sometimes more expensive, brands like EKWB and XSPC are a good choice.
I mainly use EK stuff but have a fittings from XSPC and Alphacool and have never had any issues with them.
Avoid using Thermaltake radiators as they are aluminium.

I haven't had any issues with EKs premixed fluids so i can recommend that.
I haven't used any other fuilds apart from distilled water.

Check out Jayztwocents on youtube, hes an enthusiast watercooler and really knows his stuff when it comes to watercooling.

I have been watching jaystwocents quite a bit and that’s the reason I’m even trying it.

Appreciate the input would love to here some more thoughts from anyone else. Maybe a few more ideas on parts specific radiators etc.

Thanks

Sure, here it is: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/277130-29-read-first-watercooling-sticky

1. You can, but disassembling the loop and reassembling inside your case simply negates the external testing. The one thing this does allow is to ensure all your components are initially working correctly or do not have flaws.

2. EK always comes up as making great products, but so does Swiftech, Alphacool, Koolance, Aquacomputer, Magicool, XSPC, Bitspower, Phobya and many, many others

3. Interestingly enough, I'm working on a tutorial write up about how to install watercooling in coming weeks, so I will link it in the sticky once it is published to the main news feed. Other than that, Reddit has some great threads on watercooling builds, or simply begin to Google for your case + 'watercooling' and see what turns up.

Found the sticky’s lots of good info and I agree on what you said it’s more to check parts then anything putting it to get her outside. Thanks.
