RGB on Cooler Master G100M

I just built a new PC with the Cooler Master MasterAir G100M. The box says that is compatible with Aura Sync (I have an Asus B350M TUF), but when I run Aura, it doesn't show the cpu fan, just the gpu. I tried NZXT Cam as well but nothing. The only software that recognizes it is Asus AI Suite, but the customize options are pretty limited.

Someone told me that i should flip the connector, but I don't know if that will burn the leds, because the connector has a mark that should match the voltage pin in the header (the other pins shows "g, b, r").

Is there any other software to customize the rgb light?

Solution

Since it didn't work and as i suggested above, contact Asus regarding this. I'm quite sure they can help you out.

I had similar issue with my NZXT CAM where when i installed the latest version (v3.5.90), it automatically crashed upon launch and i wasn't able to use it at all. I contacted NZXT and thanks to their customer support representative, who talked me step-by-step through, i was able to get my NZXT CAM running without issues.

Fancy CPU cooler, looks like an UFO. :D

As far as your issue goes, did you connect the fan RGB wire directly to the MoBo RGB header? With little arrow on connector pointing at +12V pin?

Though, Aura Sync software is known to be quite buggy, most likely due to the huge variety of products it needs to support. So, it could be software issue as well.

If you were to connect your fan RGB wire to the included controller, are you able to control fan LEDs via that?

Trying out controller would show if the issue is within the fan.

Though, there's one more thing to try:
* uninstall Asus AI Suite and Aura Sync
* download latest version of Aura Sync and install it, link: https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.html
* don't install Asus AI Suite

If this works, it's possible that Asus AI Suite has primary control over MoBo RGB header, leaving Aura Sync nothing to control.
If it doesn't work, contact Asus support. I don't have access to the internal workings or Aura Sync software nor do i know how to fix it's issues on software level. Could be a bug in software too. E.g i found one bug in NZXT CAM which i use for my RGB control.

Nope, it didn't work. In fact, after i uninstalled AI Suite and installed the latest Aura, makes Aura crash. I installed the previous version and it worked, but again, it just detect the gpu.
