4th core much cooler than the rest

Hello,

After repasting my laptop a few weeks ago, I noticed there was an overall drop of about 5 C temperature on average, BUT, the 4th core is now 15 C cooler than the rest. With that being said, I have better performance than before, and no problems with the cpu. Other than stress tests, I have never seen the difference between core temps so big. My question is, is this a problem since it does not affect performance in any way?

It may be a faulty sensor (I have taken the temps with multiple programs) but I really don't want to open up the laptop again, because it has these plastic clicks than can be easily broken.

I have a photo I took during an Intelburn test to show my case, https://imgur.com/a/25PbMqr

4th core much cooler than the rest
There are three reasons why a core would run hotter.
1. Computers work sequentially. Put the load on the 1st core till it maxes > 2nd core > ... That means the first cores are always loaded and working harder than the last core.

2. Bad sensor or incompatibility with third-party monitoring software like AMD CPUs. No need to explain this.

3. Bad contact with the heatsink or IHS. Also, poor thermal paste quality or application can cause it too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall, there's no problem as long as you don't overheat.

Bad contact with the other cores. You should have seen the big heatsinks on PCs that need to get screwed from each side. Sometimes we screwed one side heavily and bend the CPU cover slightly. Getting bad contact with the other sides. That's one of the reasons people Delid. (1. Change stock paste 2. Polish and smooth it out 3. use a custom cover because it's "cooler")

But this shouldn't be a problem for you. It's more likely the first issue I posted before (or double posted by mistake).
