Specs:
CPU: Pentium E2180
Motherboard: Abit IP-95 v:1.0 (BIOS V2.59)
GPU: GTX 650 Ti
OS: Win10
Problem:
PC will not boot at all if the GPU is connected in the PCIe slot. When the PC boots, the speaker does a beep, with the GPU connected, it doesn't. The Display doesn't give signal wether it's connected in the motherboard or in the GPU. What's even more interesting, is if I press the power button while the GPU is connected, and then remove the GPU while the PC is on, it will boot normally right after the GPU is removed.
What I've tried:
Changing BIOS so it prioritizes PCIe display adapter.
Clearing/reseting CMOS/BIOS.
Changing CPU (to a Core 2 Duo E4300)
Changing RAM
Changing PSU
The GPU works fine with the same CPU, RAM, and PSU, on a different motherboard.
I'm guessing the PCIe slot on this motherboard is not working, but that's weird because if the PCIe slot wasn't working then the PC should boot normally using the on-board display adapter but it doesn't.
