I'm having a weird issue with a server. Here are the details.
All the firewall rules are in place and it's been working for years with no setting changes.
Server A can ping Server B with no issues until while on Server A, you try to access something like '\\Server B\c$'. Once that happens, the ping drops and both servers can't talk to one another for around 5 to 10 minutes and the ping comes back.
Both are Windows Server 2008
I can't find anything in any event logs on either server or in the Firewall event logs.
Has anyone experienced an issue like this before? I can't find anything like it online.
