Best router for small apartment

Hello Guys,

I would really appreciate if you could help me with a few tips on how to choose the best wifi router for a one room apartment. I need to buy a router so that I can connect my phone and TV on wifi and I have no idea how to decide on which router would do the trick for me. I'm a noob when it comes to technicalities and I wouldn't want to overpay for something that I don't actually need.

It depends on many things like how fast you internet is and if you need a modem built into the router. This to a point you need to see which router will work on your ISP. Some it does not matter and others like cable modem routers you can only use ones on their list.

In general a router that says it runs "1200" would be a fairly good budget router that is fast enough for most end devices. The routers with bigger number do not run faster unless your end device can use those features.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

This is a speed test I did online and the results were Download: 239.12 Mbps Upload: 150.83 Ping: 2ms

The idea is that now I only have one cable that goes into my pc and I had to create a broadband connection. I need to be able to also connect my pc trough that router, with a cable, and on my pc I need it to be fast. I'm really sorry but as I said, not very technical person here so I really don't know what kind of info I could provide.
