Hi guys,

Recieved my GTX 1070Ti saturday.
Decided to do a benchmark yesterday, with Unigine Heavenly.
The max temps went to 65 degrees C.
But before the benchmark my idle temps were like 34-38.
Now my gpu temps are like, 45-48 in idle (only google chrome open)
It started at 39-40, but after like 1hour of having the pc turned on it went to 48 degrees.
I watched OHW for like 20min, and i saw the temp just going up silently.
Could the benchmark have damaged the card or something?

Solution
If your fans are off at idle, that's normal. Since it takes time for heat to saturate the whole heatsink before idle temps go up a little.

Don't worry about it, if fans are off, the cards are designed to keep fans off until around 50-60C.
