HDD not showing up in BIOS and Windows 10

After Windows 10 update my PC would not boot. I have an 128GB SSD for the OS and a 1TB WD Black HDD. So the windows did not boot, I tried many things in the BIOS but nothing worked.

I then unplugged the 1TB HDD, and tried repairing windows with ISO from USB, it didn't work i got messages ''The drive with windows installed is locked'', could not format it like in Youtube guides. So I wiped it completely and installed new Windows 10 on the SSD.

After that I plugged the HDD back in and now it doesn't show up in BIOS or in Widows. The drive spins up when the system is booting but than it doesn't spin when in Windows. I have not found any cases like this on the internet so help is appreciated.

Would be strange to me if it failed like that just when Windows update decided to brick my PC. The HDD should work on another computer, right? Or is this because it can't talk to new Windows install? Could it be something with file system (exFAT, NTFS) being different? Or the drive being locked like the SSD was?

The present drama has nothing to do with a file system Or the drive being locked. This baby is not even recognized.

There are two possibilities and I don't like either of them. If the drive shows up in another computer, then your mainboard has a problem . If it does't, then the drive has a problem. Either way, Microsoft does it AGAIN !

Try it and pray for the lesser of two evils.
