Wni8 not reading Win7 ??

4 pc's. 1 win8, 3 win7 and 1 win8 laptop. Win8's not able to access win7 drives, or each others drives but sees them in network. Win7 drives access each others but not win8's.
Had win8's accessing 1 win7 pc's drives.
Added 2 new drives to win7, win8's cant access new drives.
Everything left homegroup, rejoined home group and rebooted everything. NOW situation is worse, win8's dont access squat. ?
All drives in network have permissions to admin, everyone, home group user$, home user, and user.
I need these pc's accessing each other, running 2 emby servers and transfer GB of files and folders everyday.
HELP

Not sure about how win8 does things but for me with win7 ive always goten rid of home group on all pcs and never had a problem. In a home on one network theres no point to homegroup anyway.

Assuming you've shared your drives.

the 2 win8 pc's saw 1 emby pc and accessed those drives but wont access the 2 new drives.
why ? WTH ??

This is a big issue, i cant get all pc's upto win8 if they cant access each others drives.
