Internet slows downs and disconnects when loading up online games

My internet works fine when I'm watching videos and browsing the internet but when I start playing games it slows downs and even goes offline. This only happens on my pc and works on wired connections (My pc doesn't have a ethernet port). I tried reset my router, changing my dns, and other things without any results. Please help!

Games put a lot of load on the computer compared to most other things. It is hard to say you could see if there are newer drivers. Do not use the ones from microsoft look at the manufacture for your nic or the chipset maker of the wifi chips.

After that you start getting desperate and doing stuff like replace the wifi card. You might try other games and see if all have issues

I have a wifi adapter and it says its working probably and if It was defective, wouldn't it not work all the time?
