Hello. ^^
Soooooo, i have a Hyper TX3 EVO on an i7-3770k,
Idle temps are 50-60c (they used to be like 35-40c after thermal paste change like a yearish ago?)
And When i play fortnite with 120 fps cap without vsync it goes to like 71-72c and the cpu fan is INCREDIBLY loud like 2700 rpm it spins at max and that's the annoying part, it randomly started doing this.
Should i get a new cooler? And if so, what kind of cooler? (Preferably under 60 euros)
Thanks!

Solution
It gets positive reviews due to the low cost. It isn't significantly better than a large air cooler though. The fans can be quite loud as I recall seeing in some of the reviews. Up to you to try that one out.

Any of the coolers listed above should be fine. It supports the very tall Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212. Not a bad cooler either, and you could always put one of your SP120 on it to quiet it down.

A larger cooler wouldn't hurt. The TX3 is a fine replacement for the stock cooler, but not so much for a fully loaded i7.

Putting out 120FPS is a lot of stress on the CPU when you think about it having to tell the GPU what to do.

Alternatively you could just try re-pasting it again.

We will need your case to get a maximum cooler height. But something like the Cryorig H7, Deepcool Gammaxx 400, BeQuiet Pure Rock, and several others would be okay.

Thanks for the quick response! I have the DEEPCOOL TESSERACT SW (the blue/black version). I have 2 blue corsair sp120 fans and the 2 that came with the case 1 front and 1 rear 2 top. I was looking at the COOLER MASTER MASTERLIQUID LITE 240 MLW-D24M-A20PW-R1 (dual rad), but idk if it is good value (49 euros).
Thanks again!
