I have a pretty beefy computer, I've been running it for about a year. I've never been impressed with its performance and its just getting the best of me these days. I have it slightly overclocked both cpu and gpu memory i didnt overclock. I get lots of stutters in games and freezes in applications i reformat a lot and reinstall so im at a point where im only running bare minimums on the pc. However the stats of the pc dont seem to fit the "play" of the pc. In other words it feels like a crappy off the shelf business computer instead of the gaming rig that i built. IDK where the problem is and I'd like the forum here to maybe share some insight to an old tech that i might be missing.

Attached is a Speccy printout of the device. Pastebin!

Uhm hey here!

I just read though all of this and yea....
You have 3 4k Monitors attached to your computer... there it is clear that you dont get more than 60 FPS in Games...

Try out only one 1080P Monitor if you have an old one, and you will see that you have MANY MANY more FPS

It is true that SLI isnt the same as it was some Years ago but it should still work in most games as long as its only 2 and not more GPUS
What doesnt mean that it works in every game! I also had crashes with SLI

Yes i am, and really? i spent an extra grand for SLI (first time with SLI) because everyone everywhere told me it was better... I'm not doubting you im just shocked.

Should i setup like this ^^^^ or should i turn off the physx dedication?

EDIT: With the above configuration, my FPS in World of Warcraft is about half what it was with sli enabled.

Yeah SLI is sorta dead, there are some games that do it well but they are few and even ones that have the SLI ready logo doesn't really mean they run any better, many times they will run worse.

And yes you have it set up correctly, I think theres a way to make it so SLI will disable depending on the game bein launched but its been a long time since I messed with SLI controls.

it doesnt really explain the fps loss though in WoW in the same area with SLI on i get about 50-60 fps and with sli disabled and 2nd card handling physx its at like 20-maybe 30 something else has to give here.. my games all run like poop my older computer was better than this one and it was like 5 years old. imho with my stats i should be getting 100+ fps on games and im just not seeing that performance anywhere on any game.

Things to check would be thermals (on both CPU and GPUs, memory issues (you can use windows memory test and/or download memtest86), driver issues (could try a nice fresh install of the latest ones), and it may be a power supply issue is it sufficient, is it dying sorta thing.
