My passport hdd

I have wd my passport external hdd when i copy file does not give me fixed speed about 3 sec give me 0 kb/s
After that give me 20 mb/s after that give me 0 kb/s
How can i fix it

Check health of your drive. Use HDtune health, post screenshot.

have you checked the connection of the drive?

If not, you could change the cable and the port.
