Dual Channel will actvate with DDR4 8Gb + DDR4 4Gb TOTAL: 12Gb?

First at all sorry if i write with some mistakes, because english isn't my native language...

I have:
Ryzen 5 1600
asus a320m prime
GTX 1060 3Gb
Only one stick memory RAM Hyperx 8gb 2400mhz

I am saving money to buy one more stick ram 8gb to make a proprerly dual channel. But today it come to me a really good deal to buy just a used 4gb ram with a really good price.

This stick is the same brand and same frequency...

I dont know if worh have a 12gb (8 + 4) or wait and buy in the future + 8gb...

Do you guys guess it worth?

Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Other combinations you happen to come up with have no guarantees.

You are free to do your own compatibility testing without any guarantees. Combinations that have never been tested before may not work or may cause the existing memory to no longer be able to run at rated specifications.
