I have just upgraded my CPU and afterwards the PC didn't boot at all, to troubleshoot I put my old CPU back into the system and the problem persists. Leading me to think that it is an issue with my motherboard, however I want to make sure I am correct before I buy any wrong new components. Cam anyone help?
Specs:
Old CPU: Intel i3 6100
New CPU: Intel i7 7700k
Motherboard: gigabyte b150m -ds3h
Gpu: gigabyte GTX 1050ti
Ram: 8gb hyperx fury
(Initially my motherboard wasn't compatible with the kaby lake processor but I updated bios to f.20 so I don't think compatibility was the issue)
