I had built a PC for 3d rendering in the beginning of 2017. The configuration is motherboard Asus X99 A- II, Intel 2011-3 socket i7 6800K, watercooler corsair H110, 32gb ram ddr4 gskill ripjaws V (4x8), gpu zotac gtx 1070, psu evga nex750G and 1ssd hd + 2 sata HD.

After more than a year of using it with no problems, last month it went off by itself. When I tried to restart the Qcode display showed the 00 code and haven't gone over that. In the documentation of the motherboard that code is not assigned. I reassembled the machine, tested it with only one RAM in different sockets, re-applied the thermal compound and the machine started up again. I updated the bios with the latest stable version, reinstalled the other memories and managed to use until 27th of July. The same error occurred another time, redoing the processor removal it started normally. There is no bend or damaged parts.

Since then random crashes have been happening. As time went on they became more common. Sometimes it's a blue screen, but most of the time everything freezes and I need to reboot the machine. No heavy task is required to make this happen. Twice the crash occurred during windows startup. I'm noticing that those freezes are ocurring more often and now there are 3 to 4 crashes in a few hours.

I take the entire build to a tech shop for testing and after 3 days of continuous stress tests they only reported the Qcode error once, only the first time they turned it on. After that no freezing or Qcode 00 Error. Unfortunately they didn't had any compatible parts to test the motherboard or the processor individually.

Bringing it back home the Qcode 00 ocurred everytime I tried to start. Already tried the processor removal, memory switchin and CMOS battery removal with no results.

Now I'm calling a electrician to check the energy wiring of the house cause I don't know what else to check. If he points out that is some energy flow problem of the wiring I'm thinking in getting a 1.5kva No-Break while that is not solved. If the says the wiring is ok, I'm clueless.

Any help?

You are sniffing round the issue which I believe is a psu problem. Q 00 as I have learned is a no cpu indicator which occurs briefly on a normal boot then disappears. I suspect the psu or the cpu but mostly the former, unless of course your wiring is fubar.

The electrician tested the electrical charge of the outlets and said that all are providing 119v (considering that the ideal where I live is 120 to 127v)

As for the tests of the site "asussupportnumber.com" I have done all except to remove the motherboard to check the standoffs, because I know they were placed. Tomorrow I'll take it all out of the tower and start it off the case to see what happens.
