Ethernet Keeps Dropping For A Couple of seconds

I've been having this problem for a week now and its really irritating. At the start of it, my ethernet would drop and stay down unless I ipconfig/renew it. But now it keeps dropping and reconnecting for seconds like every hour or two. I checked my lease time and the lease was around 44 hours each. So that removes that out of the question. I also replaced both ethernet cables that run from my modem to powerline to computer. Note that I have used this powerline for 2 years. So I dont believe its the issue. Just for reference its a Netgear PL1000, ethernet only. To be honest It could be my computer, But i've reset my network adapters. Did systems restores. And like I said the beginning, countless ipconfigs and dns flushes. I checked windows health report and the only thing that cones up is "hanging apps". So overtime it has improved as it is not dropping connection for hours or until reset. But It still drops for seconds where I get disconnected from game servers. If you have any suggestions it would help out alot.

Solution
So, 2 things to try. Try a static IP address. If this is related to DHCP, then using a static IP address will fix it.

The other idea is to look at the lights on the PL1000 when your internet goes out. Yes they have been working great for 2 years, but any piece of electronics can die at any time. Heck, maybe there was a micro power surge one day. You might also want to try unplugging and resetting them.

Any other devices on the network? Are they have the issue too (trying to see if the issue with the computer or your network)?
