Two days ago, I ran into this problem again. I had this problem two years ago and this stupid thing has haunted me for years now.

After using my computer for months, nothing was wrong with it, booted pefectly fine every day, and now it won't post again. No signal to the monitor, no post, nothing. Last time this same problem happened to me, I fixed it by simply switching the ports of my DisplayPort cable. I've tried everything at this point and even ASUS tech support couldn't help.
How do I fix this issue once and for all? This computer is making me feel like it's been the titanic since day one.

I've tried:
- Restarting
- Shorting CLRTC
- Shorting CLRTC without CMOS battery
- Drained residual power by holding power button with CMOS battery removed
- Tried either stick of ram with just one trying to boot
- Tested with MEM OK and passed
- Reseated GPU
- Changed boot drive slot from any other sata slot and back to OS drive slot
- Changed storage drive slot
- Booting with and without USBs attached
- Tested for power (Motherboard and Graphics card both have the power LED on, which is good)
- Tried booting from power button on motherboard
- Switched Displayport slots
- Tried with HDMI

All of this testing gave me the same result: Boot_device_led is still on. No display. Can't get to the BIOS.

I really don't know what to do at this point and seeing that led on so often makes me want to throw away my computer. It was working perfectly fine for months and I turn it on Monday to nothing. It's the absolute worst when it does that and I'm sick of it happening.
