Ok so I want to combine the Z370 Gigabyte aorus gaming 5 motherboard with the NZXT H500i case. so the NZXT H500i comes with a smart device to connect my rgb lighting and fans.To connect my smart device to my motherboard my motherboard needs to have an open internal USB 2.0 port I looked at my motherboard specs it said nothing about an internal USB 2.0 port but on pcpartpicker the case and motherboard are compatible. can someone confirm this if it's compatible or not please?

The NZXT H500i comes with a smart device a smart deivce is something you plug in rgb lighting and fans there 3 port one for the mother board one for power supply and one for the rgb lighting and 3 on the side for fans. For motherboard cable smart device require for you to have an open internal usb 2.0 port on your motherboard to plug it in if I want rgb lighting etc. Go here https://www.nzxt.com/products/h500i-matte-white go down to specifications then go down to System Requirements it say PC with open internal USB 2.0 port

But many people have been confused by it you don't want to be wrong? All I ask is where you found the information Electro noted usb header (pin) I explained why those were wrong and corrected him to what I was looking for on the motherboard trying to see if anyone else could find it but on pcpartpicker it compatible but I don't think it check the smart device compatibility

As I said I have the NZXT H500i Case - I know how it works, because it's sitting next to me, right now with the sides of the case off.

It powers with a SATA Power connector, and the USB plugs into the motherboard PINs.

There is nothing more I can do for you, if you don't believe me.

I was talking with a NZXT expert and they gave me false information telling me the smart didn't even have a powers supply cable port or something but good thing I did by research and didn't just go off the "EXPERTS" answer. and correct the so I correcred the "EXPERT".
