So, basically,I want to build a gaming rig. I already own an msi GTX 1050ti and I was thinking "hey, that ryzen 5 1400 seems pretty juicy". But I have lost track with the problems that apparently people had with their mobos (bios problems,CPUs not being compatible etc). So my question is if there is a product out there (of course a Mobo) that doesn't have those issues anymore and suits my needs (games). Is the msi b350 tomahawk a good choice for example or will I have to go through the whole bios update thing?

You can use a b350 series board with any ryzen 1000 series without a bios update. You can also use a newer b450 series if you wish.

If you get a ryzen 2000 series, a b350 MAY need a bios update but the new b450 will not.

This being said, I would not recommend a 1400 when a 1600 is $7 more currently and a 2600 is an additional,$20. I would get a 1600 $149.99 currently at a minimum.

Thank you my guy, that actually helped me a lot :) I am not from the states and prices are different (not a lot more expensive though, but I was thinking on investing on some other stuff I need). But again, thanks
