Help picking out a motherboard

I'm building my mom a Ryzen 5 computer that I hope she will have for the next few years, and I'm keeping the budget below $800. I'm pretty set on the processor, a AMD Ryzen 5 2600, and have two motherboards in mind. She probably won't be using a lot of PCIe cards, but will need many storage upgrade options as she creates a lot of audio files. Here are the boards:

ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS

ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS

I'm getting DDR4-3000 memory and both boards support it with memory overclocking. The B450 is also a little more expensive because it is the new chipset. I am also comfortable with having to upgrade the BIOS on the B350 board by ordering a temp processor from AMD if I must. The B450 also has NVMe M.2 speeds too.

Essentially I'm asking if the newer B450 one is worth it, and if it looks like it has any drawbacks from the B350 one. And maybe if you know of a better bang for the buck motherboard under 100 dollars that'd be great too.

Thanks!
