Hi I have a problem with pc new pc.
First i’d like to say that my english is pretty bas so forgive me for my spelling mistakes.

So I decided to build a pc for the first time. I turned it on and tried to access the bios but it didnt work. After 15 mins it worked. I applied my settings and launched the pc. Everything was fine except that the pc wasn’t detecting my ssd. I used my pc for two days but after that I was frustrated that my ssd couldnt be used. I went back in the bios and I changed a few settings. It told me that the ssd was working but when I tried to access Windows it told me there was an error. I restarted my pc and went to the bios and it said «  rom isnt loaded » or something like that. I took off the new settings I applied and tried to access windows but the problem continued. Then I went back in the bios again and I put the recommanded settings to be sure that windows would work. My pc restarted and then when I tried to get in the bios it didn’t work. I tried for an hour but it wasnt working. I saw that the fast boot option may be the problem but i’m not even sure if I did activate it.

My motherboard is a gigabyte B360 aorus gaming 3 wifi and I use « del » to get in the bios. I need some help please.

Hi,
Your initial problems with the BIOS are concerning. I suggest you do this:

1) create a MEMTEST86 USB stick www.memtest86.com

2) Unhook everything you don't need (SSD, HDD etc)

3) boot to the USB stick and just let it run until you see a full pass without errors or see errors (if you see errors shutdown and reseat the memory then try again. if errors again test one stick at a time)

4) if no errors leave SSD/HDD etc unhooked and see if you easily go into the BIOS still. If not I'd suspect the motherboard or power supply

5) If no errors see if a new BIOS exists for your motherboard (perhaps there's some SSD issue that gets fixed. probably not).

6) if still stumped I'd probably investigate the Power Supply next (by swapping in a...

*In order I suspect:
1) Memory (DDR4)
2) problem with SSD either physically or compatibility causing issues
3) Motherboard defective
4) Power Supply

Update:
Going into the BIOS has absolutely NOTHING to do with Windows. When you boot up your system first runs some basic tests (POST) then offers to go into the BIOS (i.e. hit "DEL" key) and only then does it boot into Windows.

You can change some settings in the BIOS with certain hardware but to be clear if you have difficulty going into the BIOS that's not software related (Windows) it is hardware related like the motherboard, DDR4 memory, possibly the PSU.
