I have 4th gen i7 3.6 ghz. N my ram is 8gb. I am planning to buy a gtx 9604gb.how well it will work for gaming?i mean how longer will i b able to play games? Thank you

The CPU wont be a problem as its still a good one for the time being, but the GPU is on the low end. Depending on what kind of games you play you may have to adjust resolution/settings to run the more demanding or less optimized games in the coming years.

It will work like a slighly slower 1050 Ti. So check benchmarks in reviews for that card and you'll get an idea of what to expect. I'd consider it on the high part of the low end. Not up to 1060 levels, but better than 1050 or RX 560 level.
