Hello! My new computer will power up, the fans will spin for about 30 seconds then the computer will shut down. After which it will start up again and continue to repeat this process. It will not post, and I have not been able to install an ios. Any ideas?

This is the build that I have goin on. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wqygQZ

I have the motherboard on the pins, I've already gone ahead and disassembled the pc and built it again as as well as remounted the cpu. I kinda think the motherboard may be the culprit? Help needed though!

It's a nice computer you put together (love the meshify case, btw) and exactly right ... it won't post, which is different from it won't boot. Generally, when a computer will post, but not boot, it's a software issue. When a computer won't post it is a hardware issue. Why won't your computer post ... hard to say. Power issues, bad MB, bad CPU, bad memory, bad GPU ... they can all cause this.

Did your motherboard come with a speaker? Some do, some don't. If you connect the speaker it will give a serious of beeps that identify what part is failing (not 100%, but an easy test). If this does not work then you stuck switching out parts until you find the bad one. Most people don't have a closet full of parts, so this is difficult...

Is your RAM on the support list for that mother board?
Have you tried testing one RAM stick at a time?
Did you plug in the GPUs power plug?
Do you have another GPU you can test with?

You can go to a fry's or best buy ... they will charge you to diagnose this. If you have a local shop with a nice proprietor, you might be able to test for free (or with a promise to buy something).

It’s compatible and everything is plugged in as far as I know! I tried both sticks of ram independently and it seems that
Those and the ssd aren’t the problems. Not really sure how to test for the gpu when my mobo doesn’t have independent graphics
