Currently my iphone only shows 1 wifi connection which i assume is 5ghz.

I need a 2.4ghz connection for an app that only works with 2.4 ghz connection. How do i make one? So there would be 2 optiona on the wifi choosing screen.1 5ghz and 1 2.4ghz.

I'm really not sure then. If you're sure you can see both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks from your router using your computer wifi, I can't think of any reason your iPhone couldn't see them both. It's definitely dual band.

Apparently other people have had problems with 2.4 GHz on their iPhone 6 relating to bluetooth: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7242636

Apparently toggling bluetooth on and off fixes it, at least temporarily.

Im using iphone 6. Not sure about the router. But its capable of handling 200mbps speed of internet. My previous router was only up to 100mbps. So i assume my router probably is dual band. Plus in my pc, when i open my wifi software. It can see 5g and 2.4 ghz connections.
And yup, the app specifically requires 2.4 ghz connection
