Hi!
I got an i7-7700k and a gigabyte z270 gaming k3 mobo. When I first got my new pc I've been checking the temps and they were rising to even 100 or more degrees c on my cpu.
The cooler is fortis 3 he1425 v2. It has been running for 1.5year without problems and bluescreens. I've been checking forums and web for solutions but nothing really helped. Some days ago I've noticed while in 100% load the voltages were spiking aswell. from 0.6xxx to max of 1.380. I ran into a thread, guy had a gigabyte z270 mobo as well with a 7700k. He said that bios update helped him with voltage and temps spikes. So I've done the same thing, I've updated the bios and yes it helped. Temps aren't spiking now 40-100c and votlages are staying around 1.2xxx
but the temps still can spike to 93c degrees. But also I've noticed a worse performance, I do not know if this may be caused by a bios update. In games where I was able to get stable 60fps(I always have v-sync on) now I'm getting drops while fighting. May the bios update cause this? Before update in vcore voltage it was atu 1.380 and now after update it is 1.295. Is it because of voltages? Is my cpu not getting enough power? I do not know what to do. Thanks in advance.

I've never overclocked my CPU. But I just do not know why it loosed it's performance. Is it because after bios update the voltages are lower and he can't work like before? Or my CPU broke or what happened to it
