Hey guys,

I am looking to try and improve my experience for PUBG, and I came across a program called Mudfish which can apparently increase your connection/ping(?).

Does anyone have any experience with this software and will it make a big difference to my connection?

It seems pretty cheap and gets good reviews, but can't seem to find any forums or info on if it will work well for PUBG...

These sorts of programs are of dubious usefulness, and the benefit is very case specific.

Basically, with how worldwide routing works, occasionally your location versus the server can result in some very long routings. The idea with the VPN these guys offer is that it will try and get you coming out at a more sensible point on the system to help improve your ping.

This is ... mostly useless. Not only are their servers adding additional middlemen to your connection, but the odds of them being usefully placed versus yourself are pretty low, and now they also have to service connections from other people in addition to your own.

I would personally take a pass on such software - you could always do a trial run and see how it does, but...

Mudfish is a VPN. You have a limited internet speed, that speed is dependent on your service.. A VPN will not increase the speed as again, you have a limited speed based on your package. The ping in games would be the connection to the VPN server itself if I recall, not the ping to your computer.

But I might be wrong.
