Really don't see why not. 8GB is slowly becoming not enough as games get more intense but yeah it'll do you alright until you buy another 8GB

And yes, you have to buy that exact stick though.

Not buying faster RAM may cost you a few FPS in some games, if you were running a higher end gpu aiming for the highest FPS then the difference may be more noticeable.

Buying the exact same make and model RAM gives you the best chance of it working but it is not guaranteed. Usually it is ok but only RAM bought as a matched kit is guaranteed to work together and Ryzen is a little more fussy. Chances are it will be ok but if unlucky you may have issues.
