I have a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V motherboard with an i5 3550 and i upgraded to a i7 3770 (it is on the supported cpu list). The PC booted, but it used the integrated graphics instead of the dedicated vga. I manually disabled the integrated/set PCI-e to priority/set PCI-e to gen 1-2, but whenever it tries to boot with the dedicated card the fans start and stops right after, the pc restart itself and it beeps. I tried out 2 different cards. I changed to the integrated to update the bios but it didn't help either. I reinstalled the 3550 and everything works fine. So the i7 is working but it doesn't control the PCI-e. (nothing shows up in device manager either). Any idea?
