Hey guys so my question is about Denuvo DRM and other DRM's that require you to login online to play a game and such. I have heard of this before, but recently I researched it some more and found why people hate it so much, and that basically any game with the DRM is not really mine. This made me worried as to when the Denuvo service shuts down or something I will lose my games that have it.

My problem is I want to find a surefire way to backup my games that have DRM that makes it DRM-free, I'll elaborate. I have found websites like GOG.com and HumbleBunlde.com and while those are great websites, they don't have every AAA game Denuvo or DRM-free. I have heard some people get the pirated or cracked version of a DRM game so its DRM-free. I'm not sure if it's a good idea though or where to get these kind of games. If you guys know any solutions to my question I will be very thankfull, I just want make sure whatever game I buy is truly mine.

Solution
Toms prohibits discussing the only surefire way. I'd save this discussion for when this actually becomes a problem - rest assured you'll be able to find it at that point and I'm sure the ethics are a little less questionable.

At any rate, I'm pretty sure this is not a conversation Tomshardware wants to entertain on their platform.

All right I understand what your saying, I just wanted a solution to be prepared for the worst. Denuvo as of now doesn't really present any issues to me, I just wanted to be prepared for when they shut down and how I will continue to play my games. I suppose there will be an answer for that when the problem arises, thanks for the reply.
