UPDATE 2: I bought a new CPU as well (same one as listed) and everything works now!

UPDATE: I bought a new board, the ASRock z370 Extreme4 and I'm still having the same issue. Is it most likely the CPU then?

Currently having an issue where the CPU light on my motherboard is on, and my case fans and GPU are not working. My monitor says it's not receiving a signal from the GPU nor from the on board graphics.

This issue came up after I updated my board and some other drivers. But resetting the CMOS doesn't seem to do anything either.

I've tried everything on the "No POST...etc" list except trying the parts on another computer because I don't have access to do so.

It's a fairly new PC too, built in January and had basically no issues up until now.

But right before this issue, I was having a problem for a few days where my monitor would shut off and my fans would kick on high speed playing Overwatch. However, the temperatures were always consistent (mid 30s) and would never go higher than 60. I seemed to fix this issue and now I'm having the one I wrote about above. Just trying to give as much context as possible.

I'm about to send my motherboard in to MSI under warranty so that they could see if something is wrong, but I'm worried that it might be something else and just want to double check.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

CPU's rarely ever fail for no reason. Have you double-checked all the wires from your PSU to the motherboard, at both ends?

I did indeed, I made sure of it as I was plugging in everything to the new board.
