Hello, over the last couple of days I have noticed fortnite will drop from 144fps down to 50ish for a couple of seconds maybe once a game. My cpu usage is at 100% when having chrome up and anywhere from 75 - 95% when in game. Cpu and gpu temps don't rise above 55~ish degrees. Gpu % stays around 50%. I monitored exactly when the stutter occurs and the cpu didn't even seem to fluctuate too much so I'm just wondering what the problem could be if it isn't CPU bottlenecking as the temps are quite cool. The game does not break away from 144fps often and except for going into Tilted Towers. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Highly frustrating as I built this PC 6 months ago. No viruses detected either
system specs:
Mobo - MSI Bazooka b250m
GPU - 1060 6gb
CPU - i5 7500 3.4ghz
Memory - 8gb 3000mhz ddr4
Cooler - Stock Intel cooler
OS - Win10
game settings:
View Distance - High
Textures - Epic
Res - 1920x1080
everything else on low except shadows on Medium and Anti Aliasing at Epic. No vsync enabled.
Do note that I experienced this issue with all settings on low. Just a random fps drop out of no where for no particular reason, I could be chopping a tree down and then bang its like I've injected mary jane for about 2 seconds. lol anyone else getting this? Cannot find an answer. Thanks!
