im getting a new pc and i want to transfer some photos i have here in this infected pc (antivirus doesnt find anything [avast/mc security] but i had some freaky effects happening in my pc so i still suspect it is[from some pirated games]) and i got no idea how to.
is there a way to transfer them (i heard installing linux helped but i got no idea how to do it and i prefer a different method if possible).
is cloud sharing the photos will help?safe mode and transfer it to a new flash drive?
thanks in advance!

backing them up to the cloud would be ideal if you can. it will be scanned as it uploads and should catch any infection that the pics may have.

it is unlikely though that the files have any issues as viruses tend to mess with exe files more than anything. considering no AV solution is picking anything up, you should be safe to back them up to a thumb drive if you wish.

finally, if you're getting a whole new system, you can get the new one set-up with AV software and simply install this hdd into it to copy directly to the new hdd in the new system. the AV will catch anything as files are copied over. since nothing from the old hdd is running in the new system, any infection won't bother the new system. i do this myself all the time to...
