Slow Connection on Only One Computer -- New Router/Modem

Hi all,

I'm having a huge problem with my download speeds:

We needed a new router, and it's all set up. Everyone else in the house has good speeds.

I knew something was off when I tried to connect (Windows 10) and the Network Settings bar kept glitching/connecting and disconnecting. Now I have internet, but just abysmal speeds.

I tried resetting my computer, the router, and my TCP/IP settings. Still the same.

I'm sure that it's only my computer, so I'm not sure if it's recognizing it as the old connection and getting confused? I'm at a loss for solutions here.

Also wired/Ethernet works fine!

Thank you for your time,
Sky

Here's all the info:

Wireless Adapter - Linksys WUSB6300
New Router - Arris TG1682

I am not sure what the old router was, but it was an Arris as well. I'm thinking it could perhaps be my wireless adapter? And yes, I am only having trouble with wifi, not wired.

Another update: I've tried updating my wireless card drivers, but that didn't fix it.

Also there is a weird (quiet) clicking sound from the router, and a high frequency noise from the wireless card when I connect. Not sure if this is notable.

I don't think it is the wifi adapter if it only started after a new router rather (and from amazon reviews others are having the same problem) its just not a strong enough signal. If you can move it closer to the router and try again.

Unfortunately the router is directly next to the wireless card.

My roommate two walls away is not having any issues.
