I am currently running a Hyper 212 EVO on my i7 7700k but it is not doing the job for me. I typically get up to 80 degrees under heavy load that consists of gaming and the occasional live streaming. I have already tried the noctua nh-d15 but it didn't provide enough clearance space to squeeze by my GPU. I do have a large sized case running a MSI B250M Bazooka motherboard that does not support any ceiling mounted AIO liquid coolers such as the Corsair h100i simply because it doesn't have mounts. I've looked at the Corsair h80i but i heard it isn't as efficient as a lot of air coolers in large cases like mine. If I could get it around 60 degrees given my heavy load listed above i'll be happy. I've been searching a while and given myself a headache maybe someone here can help me :)

Keep in mind I am not overclocking and I have no plan to

Should have gotten the NH D15S, that will work because it's offset to provide more clearance for the PCIe slot in smaller motherboards.

Is the NH D15S's radiator/heat sink a different size than the D15? because the radiator size on the D15 is what was causing the issue

The NH D15S is offset to give more clearance for the PCIe slot on the smaller MB's.
