My internet used to be good

I had like 30 Mbps but now I get 0.1 Mbps or 5 Mbps, I reset my router and then for some reason I got 10 Mbps but then it goes up and down but rarely it goes past 10 Mbps. I have virgin media and I called the isp but they said the router is too far, but when the internet came it was good, but then a few weeks later it just suddenly got worse. So the isp didn't do anything. What do I do?

PS My brother's phone and my phone have good internet like 20 Mbps. Only my computer has bad internet.

I strongly suggest you post this in the ThinkBroadband forums - http://forums.thinkbroadband.com (Virgin Media section). You might get asked 20 questions along the way, but their a helpful bunch usually, and very tuned in to UK broadband issues.

Give as much non-private contract / kit info as you can, such as package type, router/modem, and exchange. It all helps.

Registration / privacy safe etc. Been a member there for 15+ years, but I'm not a Virgin Media user (which sounds a whole lot better than "I'm not a Virgin user" :D ).
