Hey all,
So I've just ordered a new case from PCCG, the DF500. I've gone through the dimensions for both the cooler and this case a few times, to make sure it fits. And sure enough, it will (Hopefully anyway).
According to the case specs, it can fit up to 165mm CPU coolers. My CPU cooler is the CoolerMaster Hyper 212X, which is 158mm tall (Not sure if that includes the copper pipes that extrude beyond the aluminium heat fins).
The question that has been bothering me is, if the mentioned CPU cooler height limit is 165mm, is that the actual limit after installing the stand offs, motherboard, CPU, and thermal paste? Or is that before the standoffs?
