All other things equal, larger is better.
But, it is more important what level cache.
and how it is managed.

Comparing engineering specs on a processor or graphics card is a useless endeavor.
Engineers make trade offs all the time to meet performance objectives.
The bottom line is how well the product performs.

For an approximate way to compare processors, for example look up the passmark ratings.
It will give you two numbers.
The first will be the performance when all threads are fully utilized.
That is important for multithreaded apps.
The second number is the single thread performance which is most important for most games.

This answer might be never get solved. GamerNexus said, Cache is Important, But Linus Tech Tips Said "Dont mention about Cache on CPU". But for me, The CPUs nowdays having a good features called "SmartCache" so i think no matter how small your L3 Cache is, it always can be running amount of file.

But Sometimes, more cores means more Cache.
