Pc giving no sign of life

So I sold my motherboard and CPU + ram combo a few days ago and the new owner can't get it to work at all. It worked fine before I sent it and know we are trying to figure out what's wrong.

The case headers are connected.
No harddrive is connected but ram and the cpu are installed.

All the right connectors are connected to the motherboard like the 4 pin CPU and the 24 pin motherboard one. This should be enough for the motherboard to post but for some reason when the new owner presses the power button on the case nothing happens at all. No fans start spinning nor does the Psu do anything either.

The system contains an i5 4460 on an Acer aspire tc-605 motherboard (micro ATX) (yes it was a prebuilt)

Does anyone have tips for anything that might work? To check what's wrong and if it's the motherboard or the psu

Nope because we tried the screwdriver trick and it still didn't give a hitch
