im having some problems with my pc thats was working fine for months
specs
cpu-i5 2400
mb-asus
ram-CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
psu-silverstone sfx sst st45sf
gpu-gtx 1080
case-node 202
I have a pc that worked fine for months, my friend game me an i5 3570 for free so i swapped it in and now the pc gets stuck on the asus black loading screen. The strange thing is that ive been dealing with this for a week and have got the pc to recognize the i5 3570 and booted to windows and was doing some updates and I guess it rebooted and then got stuck on the screen.
After trying for days i put the i5 2400 back in and same problem getting stuck on the asus black screen, i can not get into bios. I included pics of both cpus being detected and the mb in bios and the ram work was tried in another system with no problems that i know of.
Problem im having is that the pc gets stuck on the asus black screen with both cpus even the one that was working all this time.
