Computer Deadlocks When Running Games

Two days ago I made a PC myself. I made it for mostly editing and slightly gaming. The next day I launched GTA 5 after 5 mins the pc got deadlocked, nothing works totally frozen. I shut down the pc and changed the thermal paste of the CPU. While I was changing the thermal paste the Ram was hot. Then the next time I watched the CPU temps with HW Monitor and the max was 60 and the value was between 40 to 50. All settings were set to very high automatically and still got 60 to 62 fps when benchmarked. Even after the Temps were low it still got deadlocked. I contacted the people whom I bought the parts from. The guy who gave me the CPU, Motherboard said he never overclocked it and he bought it from someone else. He also said he never experienced something like this before. Then I asked the guy who gave me the GPU he said it was slightly overclocked but haven't had any issues. I haven't tested any other games. It deadlocks only when playing GTA 5 for now, and the CPU cooler seems to make it cool always. This is my computer parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gt43mq . I bought everything new except the mobo, CPU, CPU cooler and the GPU.

Well it's a fx 9590. Aka one of the worst cpu's out there. However since it came from a working system I would suspect it to be the psu that is not up to the task. Since it's a lower end evga model.

Ig 9590 was good for the price, guess I was wrong. Is there any possible fix?

I'd start by getting a new gold rated psu something like a seasonic focus + 650w. Then see what happens. Your current psu is a bit underspecced to handle a 220w (and up) cpu.

I just did a gpu stress test and it went to 80degrees for a bit and deadlocked so is that the problem of gpu?

80c for that gpu whilst a bit toasty is still fine. The thermal paste has probably dried up in it tho.

I guess it was overheating but no because I was just browsing and it deadlocked while the A/C was on and the side pannel off. So what would it be a faulty cpu/mobo ?

See the problem here is that you have a fx 9590. There are few boards that work with that cpu and often you have to simply underclock the 9590 to 4ghz to get it stable. Your board is one of the few that supports the fx9590.

However to run said cpu you also need a REALLY GOOD cooler (and yours is really underspecced but I'm suprised it's keeping the system this cool) and you also need a really good psu (your's is underspecced for this system so I would recommend getting the one I suggested since it seems like it's just overloading the psu).

Can you suggest me a good liquid cooler under 100 or 120 dollars? Also, what type of efficiency class should I go with for the PSU?

Psu is more about quality than efficiency. Since there are a bunch of garbage psu's out there (the higher up the efficiency class the less there are but still) If you could list a couple that you can get I can help you make a good decision.

A noctua nhd 14 would be a good aircooler. As for watercooler any 240mm or up cooler should do.

PSU: Select top 3 PSU ranging from 1 to 3. 3 being the least and 1 being the best: https://pcpartpicker.com/products/power-supply/#e=6,5,4&F=0&p=1&W=600,700&R=5&X=0,10000

Any of the seasonics will do.
The deepcool is the better of the 2 coolers.

I do hope you didn't spend much on the 9590 since it gets beaten by a cheap ryzen 1200.

Isn't 9590 better than 1200 on the editing side?
I'm going with the Deep cool anyways and probably upgrade later (CPU & Mobo). Also, I'm trying to make the fans RGB so what RGB fans are better for the DeepCool AIO cooler?
